Harrison College is a private, for-profit college based in Indianapolis, Indiana. It maintains other campuses across Indiana, Ohio, and Online. It was founded by Charles Cring as the Marion Business College in 1902. It was originally located in Marion, Indiana. The school initially offered courses in shorthand, typing, penmanship, English, bookkeeping, and accounting which were the needed skills during that time. It eventually became known as the Indiana Business College and then as Harrison College.

There are 12 campuses of Harrison College plus its Online Division offering bachelor, associate, diploma, and certificate programs. Harrison College also has a Culinary Division known as The Chef’s Academy. The different programs are provided by the Schools of Health Sciences, Veterinary Technology, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, and Business. Campuses in Indiana can be found in Anderson, Evansville, Indianapolis-East, Muncie, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis-Northwest, Terre Haute, Elkhart, Indianapolis-Downtown, and Lafayette. The lone Ohio campus can be found in Columbus. Harrison College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.

There are more than 30 academic programs offered by Harrison College in Business, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Information Technology, Health Sciences, and Veterinary Technology. Online academic programs in Business include the A.A.S. Accounting, Accounting Assistant Diploma, B.S. Accounting, A.A.S. Administrative Professional, A.A.S. Business Finance, A.A.S. Business Management, B.S. Business Management, A.A.S. Business Marketing, B.S. Fashion Merchandising, A.A.S. Human Resources, B.S. Human Resources, A.S. Logistics, Office Assistant Diploma, and B.S. Project Management. Criminal Justice Online Programs consist of A.A.S. Criminal Justice, B.S. Criminal Justice, and A.A.S. Paralegal. The School of Information Technology offers Online Programs including B.S. Health Informatics, Help Desk Technician Certificate, B.S. Information Technology, B.S. Interactive Media Design, and A.A.S. Network Administration. Health Sciences Online Programs consist of B.S. Nursing, B.S. Healthcare Management, B.S. Health Informatics, A.A.S. Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant Certificate, and the A.A.S. Medical Reimbursement Technology.

Estimated annual tuition is $12,135.00. Financial assistance is provided through federal grants and loans, scholarships, federal work-study programs, employer tuition assistance and reimbursement, and veterans and military benefits. Harrison College accepts all types of educational benefits open to veterans and all branches of the armed forces. It has also established as a Military Service Grant for active-duty, reservist, National Guard, retirees, veterans, and eligible dependents of military personnel. This translates to as much as 50% tuition discount for military students or 30% tuition discount for dependents. Some of the financial options for assistance provided to military students are the Montgomery G.I. Bill (Chapter 30), the Yellow-Ribbon Program, the Veterans Administration Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Chapter 31), Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP-Chapter 32), Post-9/11 G.I. Bill (Chapter 33), Dependents Educational Assistance (Chapter 35), Reserve G.I. Bill (Chapter 1606), and the Activated Reservists After September 11, 2001 (Chapter 1607-REAP). Documented military experience can be granted credit by Harrison College based on the recommendations of the American Council on Education. This would usually require college-level examinations including the CLEP, DSST/DANTES, Excelsior College Examinations, and Defense Language Proficiency Tests.

There are more than 6,000 students enrolled in the various campuses of Harrison College of whom 25% are men, and 75% are women. Average class size is 16. The college is not a member of any sports intercollegiate conference.
